Edinburgh has a number of great public transport links that will take you to practically anywhere in the city you wish to go. For a general overview of these services see https://www.travelinescotland.com/
From Edinburgh International Airport
If you are arriving via Edinburgh International Airport there are a number of transport options including car hire, taxi, buses and the tram service. If opting for public transport our recommendation would be to take the airlink bus (service 100) from just outside the airport terminal to Waverly Train Station in town, the final stop of the bus. (Prices and timetable can be found here) From Waverley Train station you can either take a Black Taxi from the rank, or take the No. 22 bus (The timetable of which can be found here) to Henderson Street at The Shore, there is around a two minute walk from this bus stop to The Pavilion at Lamb's House.
