Reservations and payments
Reservations will be secured by a deposit of 20% of the total cost with the balance being received 6 weeks prior to arrival. Once you have booked, if there’s anything you need to know please just drop us a line by the email provided.
From 24th July 2026, the City of Edinburgh Council will apply a Visitor Levy of 5% of the accommodation cost to the first 5 nights of any accommodation booking in the city. We will calculate this amount and apply it automatically to the total cost of your accommodation when you book with us.
Arrival and check-in
The pavilion is available from 3pm on day of arrival and guests have until 10am to check out on day of departure.
You will be given an access code for the front gate, and there is a lock box for the front door key. All codes will be sent upon receiving the deposit.
Car parking is provided for one vehicle within a secure courtyard and there is free on-street parking in the neighbourhood. Blue Badge parking is available on the street outside The Pavilion. There is also a bike stand within the courtyard.

While the Pavilion has been designed with every detail considered, it is also practical so children are welcome. We can provide a cot and highchair on request.
You can also try Tom Thumb Baby Equipment Hire for more specific items. Here you can hire anything from car seats, travel cots and strollers to toys and even food products and they can deliver direct to The Pavilion without any fuss.
Families
We take security seriously which means that the building is CCTV monitored and the courtyard and garden are kept locked.
